Its finally official though probably for most of you out and about fall reached you weeks ago. Well here in VA fall has finally come round and I can't express just how excited I am by this. For starters I wasn't even a fall kinda gal until a few years ago. I guess once you get out of school and you no longer dread fall as yet another school year, one finally gets to see the true beauty of the season...that or its just me the leaves have finally come out of their collective shells and started turning some of the most vibrant colors we've seen in years. Its honestly breathtaking just how rich the colors are.

With fall comes the beloved holiday, Halloween. Again not one of my favorite things in the world, but as of late I've really started enjoying the spirit of things. This year I even went so far as to carve a pumpkin with my two sisters. Great fun, messy as hell in which the kitchen is still recovering but awesome fun!

I've also gotten the rare opportunity to reflect this fall, which was something I've really a long time coming. As you've seen through my art as of late I've started searching through the tangled mess that is my mind and heart, searching for my place in the world. A right of passage for all people, but one that I feel I've had to endure a few times over. This year though I think I've finally broken through and found small gems of enlightenment which I've shared with you beautiful people through my art. I feel different, empowered and less hesitant about my day-to-day life. Its hard to explain beyond that to someone that's never felt what I feel now, so I'll just leave it at I've started discovering what I've been looking for.
